Creative Sightings 4
Creative Sightings this month features some really cool stuff rounded up from across the web, including floating cars, an awesome Dexter intro animation, Super Mario showing his passionate side, retro Muppet posters and more.
Fauna Friends - Japanimals is a cool series of posters available from Familytree, which consists of four illustrated posters with beautiful hand-rendered typography, each one by a different artist, but all printed using red and white ink on ‘red hot’ paper.

The surreal quality of this next image is what drew me to it, it’s from a series called Weightless by designer Jack Crossing, which consists of several images of floating vehicles.

Moments in Time
Watch Sculptures: Moments in Time by British designer Dominic Wilcox, features customised model figures inside of vintage mechanical watches, shown to depict scenes from everyday observations and imagined situations.

I love this alternative title sequence for the TV show Dexter by Ty Mattson, which is an animation based on his popular poster series. I’m a huge fan of the TV show and this sequence really captures its essence.

Retro Muppet Concert Posters
These awesome Muppet posters by Michael De Pippo, show each member of Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem – which is the house band from The Muppet Show. The composition of these simple designs, along with the great use of colour works so well to create a fun retro vibe.
