Pumpkins creatively carved
It’s Halloween time again, I can’t believe it’s been a year since I carved, set fire to and photographed a pumpkin – time does fly. Pumpkin carving isn’t the easiest thing to do, so I was blown away when I saw the awesome work by artist Ray Villafane.
Ray produces a wide variety of themed pumpkins as can be seen below, with even more viewable on his Villafane Studios website. The level of skill required to carve these is immense, not to mention the imagination needed to think up the cool and crazy designs. The images on his site are in colour, but I personally love them in black and white as I think it adds intensity to the pieces.
